After successfully completing the Seven Summits (Kosciuszko version), Meagan became the first Canadian woman to climb the Carstenz Pyramid version of the Seven Summits, and she is the only Canadian woman to have completed both versions of the Seven Summits: Kosciuszko and Carstenz Pyramid versions.
There are 14 mountains that are over 8000m in height. They are difficult to climb, as they require extensive logistics planning, and knowledge of all aspects of climbing. These mountains test the knowledge and skill of each climber who attempts them. But, like all mountains, efforts may be thwarted for reasons other than skill - for example, weather and snow conditions often result in the need to abort attempts in order to stay safe.
There are many wonderful peaks that rise high into the sky!
Meagan has participated in many climbs and treks.
